I’ll be honest, I don’t switch up our pizza night often. Once I started making my proscuitto and mushroom pizza we fell in love with it and I kind of stopped experimenting. It’s just too good. But this night, I had random ingredients in the fridge, felt a little creative, and decided to just go for it.
And wow… this one is staying in the rotation.
It’s rich from the vodka sauce, salty from the prosciutto, fresh from the arugula and tomato, creamy from the burrata, and then finished with hot honey which just takes it over the top. It’s one of those pizzas that feels a little elevated but is honestly so easy to throw together.
Why You’ll Love This Pizza

Feels fancy but uses super simple ingredients

Ingredients
Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Burrata, torn
Hot honey
How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Roll or stretch your pizza dough onto a floured surface or pizza pan.
Spread a layer of vodka sauce over the dough.
Top with freshly grated mozzarella.
Add slices of prosciutto evenly across the pizza.
Dollop pesto over the top.
Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and immediately top with:
Fresh arugula
Sliced tomato
Torn burrata
Finish with a generous drizzle of hot honey.
Notes
Freshly grating your mozzarella makes a big difference in melt and texture — highly recommend.
Don’t skip adding the arugula and tomato after baking — it keeps everything fresh and balanced.
Burrata > mozzarella here since we’re not baking it long enough to get that perfect melt.
Use as much (or as little) hot honey as your heart tells you.
Perfect Pairings
This pizza is unreal with:
A crisp white wine
A light arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette
Or honestly… just on its own, straight off the pan
Vodka Sauce Prosciutto Pizza with Burrata & Hot Honey
An easy, elevated homemade pizza with vodka sauce, prosciutto, pesto, burrata, fresh arugula, tomato, and a drizzle of hot honey.
Roll out your pizza dough onto a floured surface, roll it as thin or as thick as you'd like for a crispier or softer crust. We do ours pretty thin, so adjust your cooking time if you opt for a thicker crust.
Spread vodka sauce evenly over the dough.
Cover with your freshly grated mozzarella cheese.
Arrange prosciutto slices in folds, then add dollops of pesto sauce in the empty space.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
Remove from oven, top with arugula, tomato slices and torn burrata.
Drizzle with as much hot honey as you like, serve immediately.
