Hi, I’m Morgan!

I’m a full-time nurse and have been working in healthcare for about six years. My career has given me so many opportunities and is deeply rewarding, but over time I’ve found myself falling more and more in love with letting my creative side shine in the kitchen.

In 2023, my boyfriend Tyler and I bought a 1917 home and jumped headfirst into a full renovation—including building my dream kitchen. We gutted it weeks after moving in and designed every detail to feel like “us.” My favorite? The moody green cabinets I’d been dreaming about forever. Having this space has completely fueled my love for cooking, cocktails, and—now that we have a home we love—hosting friends and family. There’s nothing better than gathering around a table full of food, drinks, and laughter.

We share our home with Grizzly, our 100-pound Irish setter–golden retriever mix and official taste tester and sous chef, though most of the time he’s just by my side waiting for something to hit the floor.

When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen or hosting, you’ll probably find me out on the water boating with Tyler, spending time with family, or moving my body—whether that’s a good workout or sweating it out in hot yoga. Those moments outside the kitchen keep me grounded and inspired in their own way.

Travel is another huge source of inspiration. I love discovering new foods, but even more than that, I’m drawn to the culture behind the dishes—the people, the traditions, the way a meal brings everyone together. From sipping street-side espresso in Italy, to hunting down the best tacos in Mexico, to wandering local markets just to see what’s cooking, those experiences always spark new ideas for my own kitchen.

This blog is my little corner to share all of that joy with you—recipes, cocktails, and hosting ideas that are fun, approachable, and just a little adventurous. Here’s to good food, good drinks, and making your kitchen feel like the happiest place in the house.

Cheers,
Morgan
